As a result of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s decision in the Sheetz litigation the convenience store/gas station was forced to surrender its license to sell beer. Despite that decision the chain apparently believes it is entitled to a license for its Altoona location and has re-applied for a license to sell beer. MBDA has filed a Petition to Intervene in the license application and a hearing will be scheduled by the PLCB.
